And after having only a top four season they should be a bit more humble considering they haven't won anything yet. You don't absolutely have to mention St Kilda when talking about last place, that sort of thing smacks of sour grapes by jealous or angry people. It is footy tribalism in its basest form, and we should be somewhat past that in this day and age, really.
Carlton finished up holding the unwanted woodwork more recently than my side, is it relevant to bring that up?

I think it is far better than the wooden spoon. You can at least use a wooden spoon for cooking, you shouldn't get anything useful for coming last. What can you do with a trophy of a horses arse?
