Hi,

Not sure if this is the right forum to be posting in, and I'd say it is a longshot, but does anybody know whether there is anywhere in Barcelona that might possibly be showing the Cats-Pies game on Friday? I know there is a mass of Australians over here, possibly one of the Irish pubs?

Any help appreciated, cheers.

One of the Irish pubs that has SKY will be able to put the match on for you if you ask the bar staff nicely. It is shown on ESPN at 11am

There's an 'Australian' pub called "Hogans" on La Rambla, too, that could be worth a look.

Just down from the market, towards the port, near the streets that run into El Ravel. From memory, it's on corner of La Rambla and Carrer de l'Hospital, but it might be the corner of La Rambla and c.d Sau Pau (there's a pleasant street to wander down late at night).

I stayed next to it, but never went in, because, hey, it's an "Australian Pub". It's open in the morning, though, (when the game's on), so you might be lucky.

There's also a Catalan aussie rules league - so getting in touch with one of the clubs might be worth the effort.
