Quitting McLaren this off season makes no sense. If he wanted to, he should wait and see how the teams go with the new regs and make a decision the season after.

while i'd like to see him exit, it's unlikely as he's contracted for next year. unless hamilton pulls the plug and ferrari becomes an option and they come up with the readies to buy out the contract. mclaren might take the line of least resistance, cos having an unhappy driver isn't ideal. he is of italian descent after all.

People here or elsewhere waffling on about how the development of the car suited Piastri earlier in the season, so therefore he was winning. The development of the car then suited Norris, so he's winning now, therefore Piastri fans should suck it up.

Well, the car development preseason and during the early stages was actually centred around benefitting Norris. Piastri was just better than him earlier in the year. This contributes as to why there's cynicism in the turnaround of form. The development is even more in favour of Norris.

So when you read Australian "fans" on here thinking they're "objective" with their opinions, you know they're full of shit.

No point leaving McLaren right now, and who would he leave for. Ferrari, **** no. Mercedes, they have George, and Red Bull Verstappen Racing.....nope.
