SO true :D

Oh and that when they do place the chains on the tyres :p

Unless you are driving in Leeds! You would look a little silly with chains on your tyres there - mind you the english used to totally freak whenever there was the possibility of snow *HELLO* you live in the Northern Hemisphere up close to the north pole, it generally snows most years. I always had a quiet giggle whenever the warnings came on the news about what you needed to keep in your boot as it may snow.

If going to Vienna, a great day trip is the train to Bratislava in Slovakia - a real mini Prague. Plus I got a train stamp in my passport for that trip! :D

Haven't been to Slovenia but I know others that had and thought it was great. (Behave yourselves you two!)

Slovenia is unrated - only a tiny country but it is a great place

heaps better than Serbia :D

Oh yeah?!

Last time I was over there during winter, I drove out to visit come relatives. Had to put the chains on and even with then I felt like I was sliding along the road

Oh and there was also this time when I drove up to the family cabin for a weekend away. Except it ended up being a week away since we got caved in. Over night the snow fall reached 1 meter so there was no way we were going anywhere until it cleared. Luckily there was enough food supply up there to last us a week :D

you should go down Rundle Street (and there is 1 on Pirie St near city holden)

and look for the mountaineer shops there is 3 to 4 of them and they all stock the cold weather stuff :thumbsu:

:thumbsu: :thumbsu:

I've been to Canada 6 times. I always go down Rundle St before I do. Best quality gear down there any time of the year. I'd mention the shop names, but its slipped my mind. There are at least 2-3 very good places and it shouldn't be hard to work out which ones.
