That’s a very premature call. Freo in ninth are two games off third spot, and so would Essendon or Gold Coast be if they win tonight. I don’t even want to speculate about Carlton in tenth with a game in Hand…… Lots of things can happen.

Of course. I’m just going by the historic benchmark of 16 wins, which would mean any side outside the top 6 can only drop one more game. Of course it could pan out differently this year, particularly if there is a slider from the top 6, but I’ll back my call in… for now.
