When you see some of the absolute pissweak fress that are given, it staggering that that was let slide. No chance he wasn't hit high in some way. Massive respect for Rowell who dusted himself off and got on with it.

Once you leave the ground you showed intent. He wasn’t even looking at the ball. It’s insane that the AFL gets these incidents so wrong. Then in the same breath speaks of protecting the head. And not to mention the current concerns over concussion. I was more amazed he only got 1 week.

But yeah let’s give Rioli a free pass….

Maynard must feel like he should have just put his knee into Lloyd and caved his kidneys in instead.

yeah, young players can have down years (2021 wasnt great for many of us), and especially ones that had the early injuries he did. Then same applies to rowell. But massive massive talents, so its great to see them having a good game.
