Johnny Reid: "Finally we've got a forward that'll go out and crack some heads. Its about ****ing time."

James Fantasia: "Pick #36 is now our first pick? Pressure of not wasting first round pick is.....off......aaaaaaaaah yes. Hmm, I wonder who Woodville-West Torrens have this year? I guess I should give them a courtesy call or something."

Steven Trigg: "Well gee, if we win a premiership, I should be on the AFL commission within five years....and from there, THE WORLD!"

Bloody hell Porthos that's not a bad load of crap even if i say so myself,

Good to see your loosening up a little bit but as crazed crow stated GREEN seems to be the colour of choice over in Pap land, :D

Dave, Birdman takes the species when it comes naturally - rather than trying to do it on every attempt! He is best floating down from the Wing / HF flank to do this. Wonder how happy Ayres & Co are tonight ... sweat dreams about the forward / midfield matchups... :)

I agree about Burton on the wing. I also think key possie players - a CHB and a ruckman or two should be the priority ahead of more midfielders.

Not to take your post too seriously, but have Adelaide ever sacked a coach mid-contract?

Yeah Biglands, Burton, Crowell, McGregor, what a bunch of hacks...

Do you think we will still try and trade for a tall defender?
Gary said we still needed one and he usually gets what he wants.

Also I reckon if Sheedy was still around at no. 36 then we should pick him up as Ayres said you can never have enough midfielders and Sheedy is ready-made, only 22 and could have an immediate impact at AFL level IMO, much like Francou.

Thoughts?
We could do with another tall defender & there were strong suggestions that Scott Bassett wanted to come to the Crows. With our lack of draft picks, we would probably need to trade a fringe player or 2 away to make this possible (or we would have very, very late picks). In the draft we should be making a young ruckman a priority & put another on the rookie list once Angwin & Marsh are gone.
