Very surprised that the selectors got it right. My only change would've been giving Grimes a few votes and Hill a few less but I guess you can't expect perfection when the panel includes a knobjockey like Adrian Anderson.

Seriously I think Sheahan along with Caroline Wilson have lost touch with the national game this year .........they both have been excelent journo's but they have been sadly out of touch on most issues for the majority of the year

You must have a different Hun than the one I read. Sheahan had Rich, from Ward and Pears as his top 3.

However I do believe that Andy can consider himself to be a little unlucky

Rich seemed to be the easy selection as he was grabbing a fair bit of media attention however when you look at both players performance in isolation Otten averaged more disposals and a higher efficiency and not to mention Otten's first role was to negate a forward and at times in Bock's absence had to play on a key forward

Great effort by Otten and may well have won it in another year.

Rich was the rightful winner and its rare for a first year player to play so well week after week - as Andy has himself.
