When Otto was resigned there was a story going around of the meeting between Danny and Otto about him going back to Adeliaide in the PSD draft it went something like this. Danny said "You better get used to me as coach as if I let you leave, the RFC board will sack me, I'll be coaching St Kilda (GT not named yet) and I will be definatly picking you up in the PSD before Adelaide". Just think if Otto had have called Danny's bluf. No Otto drawing a pension for the last couple of years and Danny wouldn't have coached for the last three.

The irony is that Otto has always wanted to play at a successful club. It was the threat of going to St kilda that kept him here, and now St Kilda are only a good ruckman away from success. He should have learnt from Buckley that clubs near the bottom don't always stay there.
