Brilliant game from the big man. His ruckwork was fantastic and he also looked dangerous when he moved forward. Reminded me a bit of his massive 07 prelim against the pies.:thumbsu:

2 of those marks forward were the biggest flukes. He was just standing there and they just landed in his chest almost without him realizing. He played a massive game and deserves all the praise that comes with it.

Fantastic performance by the big fella. Best on ground and as good a big man performance in a final I have seen for a very long time.

Always seems to put in great performances in the finals, he's Mr September, but this year on the back of playing most of the season.

Kudos to the club with the way they've managed him, giving him enough breaks throughout the season that his body has held up well, and able to play a dominant role tonight.
 
He is an awesome lad, one of the best trades we've ever done. Good work for Geelong with sticking with him when the media was after him in the mid 2000s.

Hopefully Otto will get another Premiership, and really stick it up Terry Wallace.

Taught Hale and Bailey a lesson tonight, really strong and fantastic not only with the tap work but his 2nd and 3rd efforts were great. Effective disposal and really capitilised on the Hawks depleted defense.

as good as he was though, we gotta give alot of credit to West because the pill was able to rest in forward line and West's rucking and 2nd efforts are a huge reason why we have a massive shot at winning it this year

Hard to think of a more influential recruit from another AFL club including all those that North poached - it is always marvellous to watch his September ruckwork :thumbsu:

Hopefully Juddy can do the same for us sometime soon

Unbelievable how well he is going considering his age. Like a few others, I thought he was finished, but very happy to be wrong on this one. Just another great finals game from big pill. Everyone remembers him in the 07 Preliminary Final, now I am sure this one will be remembered too.

West has really opened my eyes over the last few games he's played...much better than I thought he was. I thought he was excellent again Friday night...a real competitor. And that was even before the speccy....what a grab!

If he wasn't able to win the tap clearances then Kelly, Christensen and Selwood would have a tough time really getting all those forward 50 entries.
