I must apologise, I actually said he was a humble bloke who wouldn't screw the club over if he left, I was wrong. With his decision not to go to North, he has greatly reduced his value on the trade table, and thus screwed Richmond. My opinion of Brad has dropped significantly now.

He doesnt have to stand out for a year. He is uncontracted and WILL be picked up by someone, probably collingwood (god forbid) for nothing if a deal cannot be done by friday.

I was ok with him wanting to leave, no hard feelings, but now he is putting himself way ahead of anything else, I consider it a real slap in the face given how much the club has put into him, not least of all the amount of money he has received. He is now doing his best to ensure we get nowhere near the best deal possible for him.

It's been pretty clear from the start Ottens wants to go to a club approaching a 'premiership window'. Him ruling out North is no real surprise as he likely sees them as less of a chance than Sydney or Geelong. I don't see how it decreases his worth though. If anything, it may increase the chance of a decent trade as the Roos may be open to trading pick 10 to Sydney or Geelong for the right compensation.

the differance is the swans are willing to cut deals where as the handbags

Exactly what I thought after seeing him on tv in a few interviews, seemed like a genuine bloke. I was fooled though (not the first time).
