It's a great irony that when the real Magpies are multiplying their numbers, the football Magpies are disbanding in disappointment.

If Collingwood can't defeat an understrength Blues lineup right now, then they'll never beat them. I guessing NEVER!

Joffa, you've got a short memory. I can remember seeing a half-empty MCG last year in Round 3. There was over 80,000 there at the start, but only about 40,000 left by the end of the match. It really pissed me off, too, because I was looking for a Carlton barracker to abuse. But they'd all gone home.

Well I guess the 111 point humiliation we handed the Pies the last time we met doesn't count for anything because it was at Optus Oval. Selective memories you people.

Oh, and Easty, you are a real dill. Port play well for five weeks and suddenly they deserve the Magpie mascot more than Collingwood? Collingwood's form against the Bombers who are the yardstick at present was more impressive than Port's effort. Interesting to see though that you hold the Magpie mascot in such high esteem as to think it has to be deserved.

As a rival fan, I consider it a step backwards to be associated with the Magpie! I think you secretly like the Pies and their fans.
