looking at Freos stats last night gives some hope that they may not get blown away next week. They dominated the midfield. Scoring is another issue though

They can't be trusted and we should not be in a position of relying or trusting anyone other than ourselves.

Win both that's the most difinitive.

Exactly. There is a slight chance we lose by a small margin today, beat Adelaide by a decent margin and Port win but only by a little and we’re home.

But anyone who watched Freo’s abject forward movement, entries and goal kicking today would tell you they are one of the last teams you would want to trust to do you a favour. I think it’s more likely Port win by 60-100 than Freo put up a decent fight at AO.

Win both we are in.

If we lose today we can still make it but would need to jump Adelaide we would need to beat Adelaide by 7pts + what ever we lost by today. To jump port we would need to beat Adelaide by 18pts + what ever we lost to gws by + match whatever port beat freo by.

For example if we lost by 15 today and port win by 15 next week we’d need to win by 48 to jump both

Hope we win both couldn’t care if it’s by 1pt both games as long as we win both

Just tried ladder predictor with worse possible outcomes and we still me make the 8 as long as don't lose by more than 20!?
And for Port to not win by more than 20 odd points.
And for Hawthorn to lose to WCE.

Just gotta win. Not stressed now. Should win.

At the rate we're going, we are on track to finish 7th and have a rematch against GWS. Assuming we win, we then face either West Coast at Optus, or Brisbane at the Gabba. This is going to be an incredibly difficult finals run

After today’s game, we’ve now got the 4th best attack in the game. Not a bad effort considering only weeks ago we had a terrible forward line. Big ups to Schache, Naughton, Lloyd, McLean and Bailey Dale. See what happens when you take players like Gowers out of the forward line? Great job

we win go to 7th.

Pies rest all players against Essnedon next week and lose.

We get to play Pies at the G instead of Giants at Spotless.

As much as I'd love to go to the G live, sink beers and play the Pies, they've had our measure this year twice.

Giants at Spotless is the desirable outcome IMO.
