Watson, any player who is fit and been on a list for 4 years and still not getting a game in an average team is in trouble. Lack of key position player depth is all that will save him from being delisted (that and maybe contract, not sure what that is). Slow player, short reach, tends to be a bit of a spectator and doesn't really get physically involved, seems to struggle to defend against decent opposition. I've always felt we aught to turn him into a forward because I just don't see him making it in defence.

With his 60m kick he would be very handy. Is he an accurate set shot?

Seems to be but I don't know if he has any forward smarts, it would be a real development thing that would take a lot of time. He's not athletic or physical enough to be a defender, short arms on a tall defender aren't good either.

Considering that it is basically his first season playing as a KPD, he is going ok... give him another season and we should see a polished defender emerge.
