Before Fyfe got injured I'd say that was not a good bet: with Bennell and Mundy & Sandi to return we'd have made a run at some stage.

That's the $64000 question, and I wish I had a definitive answer. Losing Richardson to St. Kilda, followed by Walsh to Adelaide, hurt pretty deep - it's difficult to replace brilliant footy minds like that overnight. Michael Voss was a great player, but many at Alberton believe he's a very ordinary coach. He's in charge of our midfield (along with Gary Hocking), and I don't believe it's a coincidence that our midfield has turned to crap since he took over.

Anyway - good luck against the Crows: I barrack for 2 teams - Port, and ANYBODY playing Adelaide!!!
