I understand Weaver is the expert here...but word around the traps is that Kym Monteath is going ok...Travis Cloke- Not so good.

Has anyone heard if any clubs are agitating to change the rule back to 50 games because i understand young Sam Robertson may go ok and at 6'3 and about 80kgs he could be useful.

So anyone with any knowledge at all...could you fill us in please!

Posted about this kid and his dad the other day but didn't get an answer.
Cheers for his stats!

Anyone else got a vibe on this kid.

His old man was as quick as.

sorry to be a bearer of bad news guys but this is from the last weekend games over here in perth.

Round 3 - East Fremantle v Claremont , Saturday, 3 April 2004

COLTS:

East Fremantle: 2.3 4.7 6.13 8.14 (62)

Claremont: 3.0 8.1 9.2 12.4 (76)

Goals: Monteath 3; Harding 2; Boyes 2; McRobb 1.

Best: Monteath; Conway; Stephens; Harding; Sewell

The opening quarter was an even contest with Claremont playing more direct football and making the most of their scoring opportunities.

The second quarter was like the first with a very even contest between two committed teams. However Claremont again made the most of chances and led from a wasteful East Fremantle by 18 points at halftime.

Folllowing a hard fought third quarter with greater drive from the midfield East Fremantle narrowed the lead at the final break to 7 points. Again with eight scoring shots to two East Fremantle wasted goal scoring opportunities.

After an exciting final quarter, marred by a serious shoulder injury to East Fremantle's best player Kym Monteath, Claremont ran out winners by 14 points.

will try and find out more regarding how serious the injury was

Bruce Monteath was my fav player....not sure how it came about. Be great to get his son down...hopefully the injury isn't that serious for the kid.

He was a champion.
Used to call him Bruce Bigteeth.
Ex captain,quick,fit,good build
Raking kick - 65 metres and accurate.
Think he kicked one from close to the wing at VFL park once.

'Hopefully his son has it in his blood aswell. We need a big kicker in the side to get it down there fast like what brisbane and tha kangas do.

Does anyone know what he is like as a player? What position? Good build? And whats his kicking like?
