Of late i've heard that our list is thought off as the worst in the AFL. Skill, fitness, footy smarts, commitment and coaching IMO are factors which contibute how good our list is. Surely with a new coach - and someone of woosha's calibre, other factors can be worked on and consequently improved on.

What i'm saying is that our list can be as good as anyones with the right preparation. I dont believe in absolute judging of a list. More importantly it is how the club is run.

I really dont understand this " worst list" tag we've been given.

I agree with you.

Remember that the people making these comparisons really have no idea across all the 16 teams in the competition (including me in this). There are so many factors that a comparison is impossible. But we enjoy it.

Thats right, hence the only way this can be assessed with any credibility is by rating them in the position in which they finished the season in.

So in 2001 the eagles had the 3rd worst list. And don't argue we didn't, because there would be no credible way to back that up.

Completely agree! Ill give you an example.

2 years ago Port had one of the worst lists in the league yet last season they had one of the best.....but it was the exact same list......

A lot of it is coaching, administration, confidence etc .. our players areobviously good, you have to be to make it at AFL level, all we have to do now is turn it into results on the footy field.

We had the worst list because our players did not respond to the ex coach. Best for us to not defend, but know at the end of the season we will no longer be considered one of the worst lists in the comp.
