We beat the bye comfortably today in a hit out which was umpired . The players were a little taken aback with what they thought would be an easy session.
lol

The MSD dude played very well and big bad Benny McKay played out of FF. Did very well also.

I am not happy with the umpires though. Not one bloody free to Larkey, although I do admit that he wasn't penalised by any bizarre interpretations of the dissent rule for once.

The most disappointing thing about the bye is that I didn't get to have my usual conversation this morning with the other* North dad at my son's Auskick session. It goes along these lines:

Post-Saturday game: I can't believe we're so sh*t. How does Turner keep getting a game?

Pre-Sunday game: I reckon we're a sneaky chance today.



* There is literally only one other North supporting family in an Auskick class of over 50 kids.
