Well if it's any consolation I can 100% guarantee you that Walker will not be in defence on Thursday night.Walker had easily his best season playing as a forward, we moved him to accommodate the 3 amigos but when we look so one dimensional I think he needs to go forward to spice it up.
walker has never shown much as a midfielder... but he never really showed much anywhere for his first few years except for bad shoulders. Since he got his shit together he has played good footy forward and back.
his best assets are his pace, endurance and leap. He is more outside than inside and his decision making has improved a lot.
he is pretty hard to match up on when he plays forward as he can work over a defender with endurance or jump over them close to goal. he is also a good set shot.
If we want to improve out kicking on goal we need to get Walker, Menzel and Hendo taking the shots.
He took yarren's spot in the back line last year... if Yarren is going back this year then maybe walker can go back forward
Tex needs to get his head straight. He once was Mr Hollywood but now is Mr Compton- go figureYep Tex up forward

It doesn't really matter in what order they are. What is more significant is that these days you need at least 10 - 14 players capable of going thru the midfield.
So anyway you look at it the Blues are desperately lacking in those type of players.
We have gone from having one of the most lethal group of midfielders to having a midfield group, which at their best only worry the bottom sides.
It's not necessarily that we have lost any. Yes Judd is now older and slower, but it is more the other teams have improved their stocks greatly. We went for height (Watson, McCarthy, Mitchell and Rowe) and I won't go there!!!!
I'm really concerned about our immediate future.

He was born to sit off a pack and leap over it,take the grab and line up for a goal.He plays a bit like Heath Shaw down back in my opinion. Looks great when he is composed but he can play some terrible footy when he is unsettled.

Sheesh, even Ratts knew this and let him have at it!.
So, if we are gonna go with this long bomb type of forward entry half the time (because of midfield pressure etc or Robbo/Bell mindset) why not have a bloke that can sit on the oppositions farking head!!!
Anyhoo,as undiscplined as it was,who amongst us didn't enjoy seeing the diver thrown gently into the fence?!.
But,back to the story, let him have at it Mick!
Leave Lachy down back if need be,but give the Skywalker some bloody freedom to do what we know he bloody does BEST
My 2 cents if that makes any bloody sense to y'all!.
Thanks to Monfries being in da fence last week.Well if it's any consolation I can 100% guarantee you that Walker will not be in defence on Thursday night.

Walker up forwardUh huh. I like the idea of Walker forward but we to have a settled back five at least. Only player in our current back line who is a permanent member down back is Jamo.

Definitely. He takes the game into his own hands and performs.Judd is still our best midfielder...
Hope our mids can get on top and apply the same sort of pressure to the Tigers over four quarters that we did to Port over 1.5 quarters.
Even 3 Qtrs woulp probably do it
3.5 or no deal.
3.25, and Ollie Wines, or I'm walking.OK I can go for that.
