Good bloke
When I think of great Geelong victories, I always think of the 1994 1st Semi Final against Carlton.

Bairstow, Hocking and Couch were all out injured, we were under the pump and Carlton fans thought they were a shoe in.

The cats put in a stirring, gutsy performance and had a great 5 goal victory.

For those who remember, how do you think that win compares to yesterdays over the triple premiers?

Obviously 94 was a final and yesterdays was a h&a. But given Brisbane's form and huge experience advantage over our boys, I think yesterday's was a bigger & probably more significant for the club.

Was another one out too, perhaps the stockbroker?

And yes, it was a wonderful day. Aaron Lord played his best game in a GFC guernsey that day.

As for yesterday, it certainly was the most significant win of the Thompson/Costa era.
