I'm not a Giants supporter so I don't really have a say in this.

Based on Subiaco's jumper. If you like it, feel free to send it in to the club.

I do like it. Has the panels which im a fan on and the Big G.

Could see our guernsey with a similar design :)

Over at the sale I asked about the three panel "saints style" jersey, cause I really loved it when I saw it. They said they weren't for sale, they only had a couple to be kept for prosperity and that St Kilda were really upset that we had dared to use it at all, even for just training purposes.

But why should they be, I asked, does Richmond complain at Essendon's beauty pageant sash, or vice versa, Collingwood hawthorn and Norf have verticals stripes. Sydney Port and Freo all have Vs. Why does St Kilda have the sole right to the three panel design? Sure you would need a clash jumper when playing them and that's OK, but for every other game I reckon St Kilda can G&GF. The jumper looks great in charcoal, grey and orange. Would love it to be our regular jersey, though I would have orange as the colour on the back rather than the silver gray in the photo.
Not to mention St. Kilda even went as far as to stray away from the 3 stripe guernsey in the late 90s...

Using the same design as the Saints would be a weak move imo. I like your current designs to be honest, looks decent enough and gives you your own identity rather than sharing something with another club.

Should be this IMO

Those first two guernseys look like the plodder worn by the Brisbane Bears and the last one has the colours around the wrong way. Orange stands out, it's unique and it has to be retained as the primary colour.

Regardless, I'm surprised that the AFL would give the okay for a jumper change after only one season. I thought all designs were locked in for a minimum of 3 years.

There's nothing wrong with out current guernsey - let it be!
The front is good, but there's some confusing aspects... like, for one instance, the front doesn't match up to the back at all, which makes the shorts looks awkward, and also the socks - which are primarily orange, look very out of place because only half of the guernsey is orange.

It seems ISC are changing their guernsey template, so a 'new' guernsey may just be switching to that - looks like its mainly the neck which is changing, which won't affect the design of the GWS guernsey as it's all orange up there.

Agreed, and I don't like it when any club makes significant changes to the guernsey without consulting the members. Brisbane did it and there has continued to be significant (and deserved) backlash. Not only did they put their own supporters off-side, they severely damaged their revenue stream because people simply haven't been buying merchandise with the new logo on it. Also, I don't want to see the club doing the same thing that the Eagles and Crows seem to have done and continually changed their strip. Maybe it happens in other codes but that doesn't mean the people who really matter (the members) like it or want it.

No obvious changes to home or clash, just the new template:

(No mention of the ACT jumper from this particular source.)
It knda makes the orange a bit thicker and therefore the whole design, at least, thats what it is to me...

I think it's just a trick of the template - making the shoulder area more pronounced compared to how it sits on a player. The charcoal seems to sit just under the cuffs as it currently does.

Just noticed something here, and I know I may come accross as a tool, apologies for that, but I feel I need to correct a horrible wrong. In the AFL, all teams wear Guernsey's not Jersey's..

Having said that, GO the Giants. Hope you have a great year next year - and thank you so much for beating the PAFC in your first year. I will treasure that memory. I have even bought a GWS Guernsey to celebrate!

Seconded.

12 more months of the Primus regime? Cripes.

I noticed today that they've started putting new things up like 2013 polos and training gear, guernseys and other ISC gear can't be too far away surely.

Yeah that sizing is off, I'm guessing its 'player fit'. I'm usually a L, needed a 2XL, the guy at Rebel early in the year looked at me funny when I asked for a 3XL for a mate and said "you know that's pretty big, right?. Ah yeah, you just scanned a 2XL for someone who is 189cm/90kg haha
