Our new players numbers

This may be old news by now but here are the numbers our new recruits will be wearing this year.

10 Greg Stafford
17 Paul Hudson
19 David Rodan
23 Adam Houlihan

Martin McGrath not yet allocated a number.

I really looking forward to see if Rodan can break into the team this year. He won most of the running drills at the draft camp and is about the same height as Peter Bell so if he is anything like Peter Bell then I think we have a player on our hands.

Thanks for that Oh My Hat that is the first news I have heard of the new numbers.

I'm being optimistic about Rodan to hopefully we don't expect too much out of him during his first year. If he is anywhere near as good as Peter Bell we will have ourselves a quality player.

Agreed kretchy. If Rodan can get 4 or 5 games this year and perform well then I would be rapt.

The word is that Coughlan will get more game time this year and will fill the breach left by Broderick and Krakouer has lost his 'puppy fat' and is looking fit and training well along with Ray Hall. Now lets hope that Houlihan and Hudson show up this year and give us those crumbing options up forward until Pettifer develops into the player everyone is expecting him to be. Anything from Dragacevic will be a bonus too.

We're starting to build a good group of young players aren't we. Lead by Ottens then there is Dragacevic, Fiora, Tivendale in the midfield catergory have had a 2 or 3 years experience.
Then the younger group of Pettifer, Krakouer, Coughlan, Hall and Rodan if most of them can develop into quality players then the future looks bright.

That's the big 'if', isn't it.

It is important that the club instills the right values into those players - that's why the current leadership group is so important.
