Do we also think we'll sack a coach during our 150th year?
Nope, it’s like it was all well planned to sack him the following year.

Mmmm good point.Do we also think we'll sack a coach during our 150th year?
Yeah, Port Adelaide creating history again, for all the wrong reasons.Might be the celebration we need.
You reckon Bob McLean would've cared about sacking an underachiever in our 150th year?Yeah, Port Adelaide creating history again, for all the wrong reasons.
We did during our 140th.Do we also think we'll sack a coach during our 150th year?
He would never of got an extension that's for sure. Hinkley would have been almost cleaning out his desk after not making the GF in 2014.You reckon Bob McLean would've cared about sacking an underachiever in our 150th year?
He would be a good choice but doubt he would come here. Clarkson would be be my first choice and Buckley my second, that's if we don't stay internal with Schofield or Monty.I would sound out Chris Scott. He may have landed on his feet at Geelong, but he sticks with the program of mixing big-bodied and hard running players with a physical attacking gameplan, supported by big strong KPPs. He is also happy to play additional talls where they can add to the side.
We did during our 140th.

How much do we read into the Suns success being down to Stuart Dew?
They have elite juniors but an average list overall. Their facilities are poor. They’ve had a huge investment in coaching and welfare.
They have really out performed expectations thus far.
Guess I’m saying, how much of a loss will missing out on Dew be?
I'm calling it now that 2020 will be 2010v2.
Anniversary year
Club performing poorly for a few years
Sacked coach

The last thing I would want is Voss or Bassett.
Have you seen their facilities? They got full access to $40m+ facilities built for the Commonwealth Games plus a full sized oval next to the stadium. They are better than Alberton and West Lakes. I was up on the GC in 2017 after the China game and got a tour as it was opened up for members for the first time and my sister and brother in law are members. How much do we read into the Suns success being down to Stuart Dew?

Injuries combined with 'It's an even competition' and 'little battler club' are all designed to lower our expectations that anything above bottom 4 is a success this year. With injuries not mentioned next year (if we get a reasonable run), for why we've improved our ladder position, making out it's all Ken.They won’t sack him (hope so, just don’t see it) anything that happens this year will be excused by “injuries”
No i don't think many Vic coaches would want to come here but if we were to feel out some potential coaches, that would be the order of preference for me. if we were to look internal I wouldn't mind Schofield, Montgomery or even Francou. You think Clarkson or Buckley would come here more so than Scott?
Ken will coach us next year but if we dont perform i see him being sacked but i dont see the club doing it until the end of the 2020 season no way will they do it during. Its not kochie style i dont think.
All well and good bit it’s the reporters asking and commenting on injuries, not the club.Injuries combined with 'It's an even competition' and 'little battler club' are all designed to lower our expectations that anything above bottom 4 is a success this year. You can read how the club is playing the fan base from a mile away. I wonder if anyone from the club actually went around the outer at the Showdown and saw on all the faces that **** isn't flying, it's just making it worse.
Injuries have played a part in a couple of games, Showdown in particular but it shouldn't make structures and game plans go out the window. We have shown very little as far as a structured forward line goes, with or without some name players. All well and good bit it’s the reporters asking and commenting on injuries, not the club.
They’re not an excuse but can’t be totally denied as a reason.
Not many clubs have a best 22 that bats to 32 or more.
