Loved watching Gigggg do his work. Smart footballer, funny as hell on TT podcast with the Chronicles of Kamdyn. A few have made the point that he loved to sneak down in the forward line for a handy sausage, was always great seeing him do this. Consummate clubman. Hope his kids can play for father-son in 15 years

Our best-ever one-sided trade was Barrot for Stewart - we got a Brownlow medallist, B&F winner, premiership centreman. Saints got 2 games.

Grigg for Collins stacks up pretty well - we got 170 games, premiership player, hardly missed a game in 8 seasons.. Carlton got 11 games.

He was a fine player for us.

First of the 21st century immortals to retire. Thank you for everything Shaun Grigg. Thought there should be a thread to reminisce about his fantastic career.

Gotta own up and say that I was screaming for his head a few seasons back , I thought he was too “outside”. As usual , with all my ramblings I am so happy to declare I was wrong . Sits comfortably with fellow tiger Ruck giants such as Bob Heard , mark Lee , David honeybun , Greg deAr , Ty esler and Nathan broad .
