It's true! I sit in the 2 tier stand (not on the T&C stand side) and from the start of 2000 I couldn't see the boys running out onto the ground and reading the banner like the good old days. The only way possible I can see them coming out is through the big screen, but thats not as exciting.
In the good old days the team used to run out onto the ground in the players race PAST the 3 tier stand where the umpires walk out. I was a little upset when they moved them to the other side of the ground because they were they coming out onto the ground where most of the opposition supporters sit (at the city end).
I realise that the club moved the players race when they redeveloped the training and players room, but I'd love to see the club do 3 of the following:
1) Have the players run out from their old changerooms - next to the WCE Supporters Club and the 3 tier stand.
2) Get the old club song playing - I didn't mind those verses
3) Get the old jumper back - who cares about marketing, that jumper had tradition and history on it, something we never should of gotten rid of!
