Just your opinion but a pretty damn good one if you ask me! I've been a fan of the idea of Waite holding down chb but think he may play his best footy as a roaming forward and can't argue with your set ups in both areas. Setanta has got to put on a bit more conditioning after illness and our midfield has to at least put on some token pressure when the ball is going the other way but that looks the goodsRe: Outcoached..........You betcha.
Just a question but what is our game plan?
Our mids continually chase the ball into our forward 50 but once its cleared its straight down the other end with very little hassle and our mids standing around wondering what happened.
They dont build a wall to stop the ball coming out and they dont work hard enough on applying pressure.
Forward line resembles pagans plan KICK THE BLOODY THING LONG TO FEV AT ALL COSTS. If Fev is double and triple teamed where the **** are our loose forwards? I'll tell ya where leading into the bloody boundary or getting in Fevs way when they should be trying to get into space on their own in a position to kick a goal.........not on the boundary 50 out.
( forward line pressure is shocking....apart from Betts)
Backline is a mystery.........Setanta played some bloody good footy down back and thats where he should go.......why dont our ruckman drop back and fill holes in defense? Waite must go forward forget this backline shit his best is forward.......Setanta,Jamison,Bower,Thornton, with the rest off half back.
Forward set up would be dangerous with Fev,Waite,Fish,Hoops etc and could kick a decent score.
Just my opinion.
