Ben Rutten for Adelaide. He actually started playing his first few games as a forward, with his 3 first kicks being goals! He was soon later shifted to the fullback position and became one of the best and most reliable fullback since the turn of this century!

Tom Hafey naming Royce Hart on the bench in the 73 Prelim Final 40 pts down at half time, Hart comes on takes a few trademark hangers, Richmond get a run on and the ghosts of 1970 come back to haunt the pies. Hart was said to be injured, Hafey had the guts to name him on the bench. McKenna was said to be injured and the pies didn't play him(Mckenna stated he was dropped). They missed 4 set shots in the last 1/4 that Mckenna would have nailed with his eyes shut.

Nic Nat coming back from injury for a big final v GWS without playing a game all year, plays exclusively forward 2nd half due to lack of match fitness, late in the last qtr kicks the goal to put the Weagles in front.

He was amazing that game. Couldn't be stopped even with a significant injury.

Significant injury? He rolled his ankle, had a painkiller, played the next week. Hardly what you'd call a significant injury.

He was able to run faster than most of the Hawthorn players too. And jump higher.

I wish my ankles where that ****ed.
