Just went in and had look at the Dawks board.
Had to have a laugh, Petrie a flat track bully, they're going to put in
3 witches hats to combat our forwards. Some entertaining stuff over there.
You gotta half agree there...??!?!??!

Oh I hope we beat them, even by the narrowest of margins.

Love Dish, incredibly kind bloke who's very approachable and honest. But the stats speak for themselves:

2014
Goals v top 6 teams: Played 5, 8 goals.
Goals v bottom 6 teams: Played 4, 10 goals
2013
Goals v top 6 teams: Played 9, 11 goals.
Goals v bottom 6 teams: Played 6, 17 goals
2012
Goals v top 6 teams: Played 8 (including finals) , 9 goals.
Goals v bottom 6 teams: Played 9, 25 goals

THIS BEING SAID, actually give us a chance IF the axe is wielded. Our issues are purely work rate based. The threat of a proper cull might be enough to produce results.

Should we show them footage of Harvey out marking Lake again or Lachie decking Franklin.
Better still put a VIP meet and greet Harry from One Direction pass on the table and tell them the highest possession accumulator gets it.

Bastinac would smash all kind of records with that kind of incentive.

We arguably should have beaten them twice last year.

1st game at MCG we were better for most of the day but just couldn't get job done due to a few players choking at the end, second time undermanned (from memory) and umps all playing for Hawks was never going to be.

If we actually have 22 contributers at the same time for a change who knows what might happen? (well I do, we will probably get thumped anyway, but still...)

More than happy to see lachie decking Franklin :)

In all seriousness this is likely a close game. North generally have shown effort and application against the sides in the top 4 and usually match up well against us. Wells out is big but so is Rioli.

Most of that stuff is spot on...
Our forward line is useless this year.....
if we come to play it will be a great game.....

Cyril got them over the line in the first game. Buddy kicked five in the second game. Both missing. Wells was massive for us in both though.

Guarantee those stats would be fairly similar for nearly any key forward at most points in history save for a few freaks (aka Carey, Lockett, Ablett etc).

Boo Hoo Hoo. Jeez, aren't we all sad little kittens. In the last 14 years, we've seen far darker times than this, and so have the Hawks! Our fans need to man up more than the team does, it seems.

We both endured the shittest game of the decade in 2006 at Docklands.
