I find it depends on the brand of toilet paper and what ply it is. I myself used to be exclusive to one brand in particular but they changed their design so that even though it was 2 play... when using it, it felt like the fish and chip style toilet paper shopping centres use. So I switched to Quilton, feels just right and has the right amount of thickness that nothing escapes.
