Hamling injured, Francis back (unless Tommy is right to play)
Debut Dattoli for Roberts to the VFL - move Campbell back so the ball finds him, cause he can't find it.
Play Jmac back, move Blakey up the field.
Play Heeney as FF (not Warner). Need to kick score to win games.
Tell Campbell to actually be good, like in his preseason game. Back himself, run and carry, take the shots. Like warner last season.
Tell warner to stop playing cute weird football and play selfish football. See above.

And play Sheldrick permanent mid FFS until he's gassed, then bench him. Stop playing him in weird forward half roles.

It's no one players fault, but wowee is Roberts a terrible disposal.

Can't get too annoyed because at least he found the ball, and most of our team couldn't even do that much, but it he was not good tonight, not good.

Errol Gulden, Lizard, Macca were all worse

• A showcase between out best and worst in one game. Our best is amazing, like close to best in comp good. Our worst is diabolical, can capitulate like as bad as bottom 4 side. Closing that gap is the challenge for Cox and the recruiters in the offseason.
• It's also a showcase of our list. Uninjured or few injuries it looks strong, but it falls off quickly. Our bottom 6 can play, but they can be suspect and because of the shallow list they play even when form doesn't warrant it. Challenge for our recruiters, if they think this is a big fish fix they are wrong. Need an offseason where we grab some trustworthy B graders to make sure even when there's a few injuries there is selection integrity. It was the same handful of panicy players that create the collapse today.
• Grundy and Hayward were great in the first half probably the pick of the group.
• What the hell is going on with Blakey since about round 16 or so last year? Jeez he's fallen away.

We are mentally fragile.

We really need to make a big splash in the trade period .

Bring in a gun and hope it sparks some confidence in the group

But the real r problem is the midfield. We made a bad decision not trading Warner at the top of the market last season. We might have been able to address some of the tall defenders or forwards and probably could have found another player who runs forward but struggles to win his own ball

Yup, said it last year and got smashed.

He is exactly the player we don't need right now. Amongst a few others.

Oh well. It was so enjoyable watching them play like they can. So frustating to see them play they do.

The inability to kick a score hurt all year and cannot get better unless Logan takes a huge leap or we trade well.
