Yeah it was going off BUT had to work at 8am on New Years day so I couldn't hit it too hard. I've been hungover at work before and its not too much fun. Didn't want to go through it again.

I worked all new years eve on the front door of a nightclub which has the nickname "Fightclub". And it didnt take long for the fighting to start. So give me the gold coast anyday of the week. The sun, the surf, the women......*wipes chin* oh the women

Not really im 6"2 and 98kgs so im small compared to some of the steriod pumping freaks. But i do have a fair martial arts backround and i can handle myself. It's not a job i do often just to earn some extra cash. You need an IQ below 10 to do it full time and im at about 12 so i just miss out

Yes some do. I have had offers but have turned them down of course. There are cameras at the doors at most nightclubs so you cant get away with too much these days.

How was it this year, Nick?

I've was down there in '01 and '02, but this year decided to give it a miss as my last two experiences weren't that great. I actually found it pretty boring out in Surfers, and had heaps more fun in the unit with my mates. Not sure what it was like this year, but other years it hasn't lived up to the hype for mine.
