I find it hard to believe that the Premier league didn't have that power before.

Sounds like a bit of PR to show that they are capable of regulating themselves and don't need an independent regulator.

FFP is bullshit. We're potentially going to get a penalty but United owe a billion and it's fine.

Manchester United’s debt is manageable because of the revenue the club makes. I guess the club can wipe out the debt by throwing a years worth of revenue onto it but that is not how it works.

Yep. And it only applies to countries sanctioned by the UK doesn't it?

So Saudi, Qatar and UAE are fine. Huge trading partners with the UK.
I think it's more individuals than countries.

Will be surprised if its ever used.

Lots of this stuff leaked recently. About time you cretins. Gotta be a huge window this summer. 2 top class mids and a new top class CB minimum. Expecting 200m net spend if FSG are serious.

Maybe don't spent 80million on a striker who couldn't hit the side of a barn door

The point is you could have signed a midfielder instead of the spuddiest striker since Shevchenko
3 forwards left in the summer. Nunez wage is less than half of those 3 players combined. His signing had zero relevance to midfielder signings. None. Signing 1 midfielder in 5 years is simply not good enough at the highest level - Klopps achievements are incredible given how tight FSG are.

In any case he already has 14 goals in 36 games in a difficult first season - pretty decent stats.

3 forwards sure, but only one of them who actually played any meaningful gametime. Plus you'd already bought the two replacements the season before as you had 0 forwards leave last season. Numbers don't add up there champ. They could have signed a midfielder instead, but Klopp thought your midfield was fine. That is incredibly poor management.

Forgot however that you're operating on a League One budget.

Sure, but if you include is glaringly obvious misses when in good situations he looks like an absolute spud.

Firmino also is leaving this year and has been at the club for 8 years. So that's 4 forwards that will have left from the 21/22 squad by the end of this season.

So they predicted the future about forwards but couldn't about midfielders. Amazing

Klopp did not think the midfield was fine lol utter nonsense. Hasn't been allowed to go after the players he wants in mid.

That'll change this summer but only because FSG have spent 20m on mids in 5 years and literally have no choice. That said there's still talk Milner will do another season!
