A season ticket holding Manc buying Liverpool would be very strange.

In business and billionaire terms who they support isn't going to make much of a difference in the decision of buying a club for 4 billion quid or so.

He supposedly threw in a late bid for Chelsea although that may just have been a cheap publicity stunt lol

Yes as he lives in London. He is a manc tho. Chelsea aren't historical rivals of United.

Like pretty much the rest of the English Manc supporters then

Is that supposed to be an insult? Are Mancs not allowed to move to London? Always amuses me that people that post this stuff are usually Australian based. Irony much.

It's a long running joke that people from Manchester don't actually support United, they go for City.
But it seems someone's sensitive about it :p

As long as the new ownership are not linked to a state known for egregious human rights abuse have at it.

So any enquiries from the Shah of Iran, Sultan of Brunei, Vladimir Putin, Kim Jong & constituents etc should be knocked back no matter how much money is offered.

Jim Ratcliffe / Musk type owner would be ideal.
elon musk gets so many government subsidies he basically is state backed

Red Bull Liverpool has a nice ring to it.

I prefer the official Twitter grandstand.

That way everytime rival clubs tweet it is more money in the coffers!

Id also have a Space X stand and a Tesla stand. Leaving the Kop as is.

Press would play up Tesla vs old fossil fuel money in the leadup to City vs LFC games.

Musk would undoubtedly boil piss on twitter with his snide comments.

Make it happen Elon!

Most of the down south man U supporters are not transplanted Mancs ...they just jumped on the bandwagon when united were successful. Same as a lot of clubs (including City). Can't say that most of Manchester is blue either their support dropped off a fair bit when they struggled in the old division one and two. Has always been split pretty much even.

We have the achievement of having bandwagon supporters, and no supporters at the same time.

You really want Musk with all that Saudi and Qatari money behind him?

Well this is awkward.

Absolute bullshit unless you are referencing people jumping on the bandwagon in the 50s.

Last time I checked Musk was the majority shareholder of Twitter after he bought the compqny out for 44 billion. He is running the company, not the other minority share holders. If anything they were the ones getting money from him due to the increase in share prices.

Tesla isnt touched by them either or his many other business interests. And Musk certainly wont be using Twitter as an image building platform for Qatar & Saudi Arabia.

Musk would be a great owner if he genuinely wants to have a crack at running a football club.
