You don't care Lewis pays dodgy politicians to steal land and have his heavies assault women. Interesting
It's just squabbles, come on.

I know you don’t care, it’s just hypocritical faux outrage.

This is evident after years hoping Levy spent like Abramovich. Now you admit to Bostonian you’d happily take Qatar investment.

Your objection to owner behaviour isn’t seemingly based of the level of abhorrence but if they put their own money into the football club to win some silverware.

Trophies = blind eye in JD land. Dust in the cabinet = scrutiny.

If we were a trophy less unambitious club run by ah good person I'd not trade it in for their money. But my point all along is we aren't. Joe Lewis is having women beaten up this week for trying to get access to a public lake. Trading one evil for another isn't ideal, but at least others have the clubs best footballing interests at heart when it came to their football decisions.

I'd rather have Bloom or Benham and non violent campaigners but we are owned by one, just like the guys at Newcastle and PSG. Our one just wants to make money off football fans. And give nothing back to them on the pitch

The point here is you can separate the support for the club badge and the owner. I can still support THFC whilst owned by ENIC who have their owner stealing indigenous land, paying corrupt politicians, having women beaten up and living in a tax haven. And that's no different if ENIC get replaced by also evil Qataris.

If you can't disassociate the club and owner, then I can't see how anyone can remain a Spurs supporter whilst knowing what Lewis is doing. Unless they're more ENIC shareholders than club supporter.

I'd not be anti ENIC as my football club owner, if they were delivering on field a plan of continued growth and improvement, something that's been gone for 4-5 years.

Which is it?

If we were unambitious... point all along is we aren't. So we are ambitious?

we can if we had ownership who wanted us to compete on field like our peers.

Your peers are every team in the PL.

Including Bournemouth.

Peers with ambition to win trophies

You and MR PMSL are confusing my lack of caring with an opinion on the nature of their treatment. Of course it is unsavoury behaviour.
I'm just sick of hearing you fake care about it, and use it as a stick to beat your supposed club with. And like most others would be happy to see ownership change, ESL was an untenable position to put the club in and they need to go for that. Open slather as the scapegoats for all problems is a figment of your delusional imagination.

BTW your claim that Lewis is using our club to fund this has yet another financial report (about 12+ in a row now) proving that to be wrong. Still no dividends paid or money withdrawn from the club for use by the owner for external projects. Our excess cash still sits as retained earnings as it has for years.

My point here is don't discredit other owners when ours is a shit head. You're being a hypocrit saying you'd turn away from the club because we'd now be owned by bad people. Because you haven't so far.

I've already said I don't like that sport and my clubs owned by these sorts of people. But rightly or wrongly it doesn't stop me supporting the club or sport in general. And all I frankly give a shit about is winning as many games and trophies as possible. In reality that would mean get Qatari campaigners in over the current Jewish Cayman Islands campaigner, because they're likely to spend significantly on the football team. Rather than have used my club as an investment tool.

Maybe 5 or so years ago before it came to light what he was doing in Patagonia I'd have had a different view. When he was just a tax evading cheapskate. But that + being the 1st club to furlough + being a heavy ESL supporter were the tipping point where I decided **** it, win at all costs with whoever, since we are winning Audi Cups at no costs currently with ENIC who aren't saints

Nothing to see here

So much desperation to try and legitimise campaigner human rights abusing ownership
UEFA and FIFA only care about the dollar bill.

No wonder the sport is so corrupt.

What a worry this is. No one will outbid Qatar and the Glazers will only sell to the highest bidder. :(
Is it this week its supposed to be all finalised.

Sounding like it’ll be Qatar for us, from all reports they’ve been given the green light and they’ll smoke any competition with money, Glazers will sell to the highest bidder.

Our fan base is going to be massively divided if this eventuates.

I have heard they won’t go above 5 billion and it’s a silent auction. Couldn’t another party keep up with the reports and out bid that?

Well you tell us. Has this bloke stepped on an Argentinian twig or squirrelled away a few pennies in a swiss bank account.

We need to know these things!
