When Roman started he was the only oil money crook in town. Now the football world is dominated by the scum.

Look at what the other oil scum are doing while the war is on

And the other scum signing a deal only 3 days ago

Abrahamovic is the majority shareholder in the steel manufacturer used by Russia to makes the tanks that are in the Ukraine. I'm sure he is profiting a lot more than he is losing out of this but he does have good pr.

That same manufacturer supplies America among others.

Football clubs are never big money makers. And there's no reason why you can't continue the same level of success with the right management in place. An oligarch / oil money makes it easier to achieve success but isn't the only way to do it.
I'm excited to be one of the good guys again.

He still hasn’t condemned the attack on Ukraine so his ‘donation’ proposal is as bojan said PR.
The fact he called it a war in the first place goes right against the Kremlin and would likely raise eyeballs amongst Putin and his loyalists. That, along with the likely $1b+ donation says about as much as he can without getting himself disappeared.

Someone will get Chelsea for a knocked down price in a fire sale. Means they will probably have more money to spend on the club to keep them challenging

Even out of all Chelsea will end up winning unless they get an owner like the Glazers, Joe Lewis, Kroenke or Cashley.

Cashley could be on the lookout for a club he can get on the cheap though

We don't who the new owners will be yet. Wouldn't get too far ahead

Plus didn’t Roman say it wouldn’t be fast tracked. Might be trying to delay it just in case he can hold on to it

This month.

Feels like he's been given a bit of time by the government to get out of the UK before any sanctions happen(he's selling his homes and stopping all business there too). The Roman era is over.

Transactions of this size and scale take a significant amount of time to package together, particularly the dilligence piece. Even if an announcement/memorandum of understanding is achieved this month, all parties would've done extremely well to effect that.

Even ours took ages and we're significantly smaller and less complex than Chelsea.

Feels like a sale maybe further along than we realise.

All Oligarch owned yachts also hurriedly left US ports recently.
