Paddle Pop snatchers!!

did anyone here used to follow the Paddle Pop Lion around the Junction Oval boundry line as he threw out free paddle pops at Fitzroy games!?

I think a few grannies would have some not so fond memories of that lion and a few select little boys taking speccies over these grannies to snatch paddle pops..especially in the white stand!

lest we forget!

Guess what I actually wore that bloody thing at some games and a few fetes/rally days etc, bloody did I want a gun, and it was so bloody hot and those stupid white boots.
