Is it simply Paddy's age and development?

I can't see why in some games (i.e Sydney V's Goodes) he absolutely ATTACKS the ball and then in others (WBFC and Collingwood) he looks like he is lethargic and not interested...? Against the Bulldogs he stood in the forward pocket near us after a contest with this hands on his quads as if he had no air left..??

Perhaps he needs a rest and needs to play in the reserves for a week or two.

He's up & down cos he has been shuffled around the ground playing down back, up forward & ruck. Centre half back is his best posi.

I thought he did everything asked of him over the weekend. One of his better games I wouldve thought.

I thought his first half was horrible, he showed some brilliance in the second half.

I'd rest him for a week.

He'd be handy up forward in the air, we'll need that as they look to have us covered across their half back line.

Come on give the kid a break. Isn't he still in Yr 9 at high school? I'm only kidding. But he is still finding his feet in the big time.

The kid has the potential to be a star.

Just needs a little more mongrel in him at times, he'll go up slow for a mark and get out-marked by someone smaller when he could have at least brought the ball down to ground, apart from that, nothing much wrong with him.

I couldn't understand why he didn't start on Travis Cloke on the weekend.

He did a great job on him in the first half of the Anzac Day match and I will argue that it was the moving of Paddy into the ruck to cover for Laycock's poor form that day that was one of the major reasons for us losing.

There's a lot of questions that could be asked lately :(

Id say it wouldve been worse had Paddy begun on Cloke. Cloke wouldve beaten anyone on Saturday. Gave Fletcher a bath and thats saying something.
