Why do people keep trying to change players positions?

Carlisle among other reasons left the bombers because he was played out of position and wanted to be a defender!

Swingmen yes in a game we're either leading or losing as in Bruce floats back or Goddard floats forward but the set positions

People suggesting Bruce be a defender again because of a delayed start to the season and now Carlisle as CHF!

I think you'll find that Carlisle didn't mind playing forward - what he didn't like was being forward one week, key defender the next and then ruckman the following week.

Above all he didn't like James Hird as a coach.

No one on our list can play the running game like Roo.
The man is a breed apart. One player I have seen maybe just better was Harves. But for a KPP Roo is unbelievable.
And at 33 seems to be getting better

And the fact that Richo says he is more the stay at home FF suggests he has no hope of playing that role. Also Carlisle was recruited as a backman so lets just play him there.
