I was sure I read somewhere it was going to be live streamed. I would have watched if it was and I'm sure many others would have. And as they felt the need to tell us it wouldn't be, there must have been an expectation of vision of the trial.

There might be a clash with the AFL but that's not the reason they're giving.

I feel like it's becoming a hill I'm going to die on and It really isn't worth that, but I found their explanation to be corporate double-speak. Why does "different event format" - whatever that means - preclude showing a match sim that is open to the public anyway?

I definitely read it was being streamed. Whomever writes the stuff for release needs to be relieved of their position. Garbage most of the time.

With that vague no stream wording, I assume it's because despite being before round 1, this game is being played after the season has started for a special select few. So the broadcast rights don't allow it to be streamed.
