Wished it were that easy...
The reason he left was that we didn't offer any security for his future, then the money issues arose, then if he took what was offered, he would've been crippling the club...
It stems back to over 12 months ago when he didn't get his contract extended when he asked, money wasn't the issue then...
But we managed to resign many players well before the contract finished, as we usually do...But not Pagan's. Then things were said and things happened and before you know it, we lost him...
Pagan leaving was the only correct result, unless he was willing to coach for half his current salary and work more, bit unfair when others around him would/will be compensated for hard work, results and success...
He did give us 30 years and some great memories...
