Feel sorry for Pagan, took over found out 2 months later has no draft picks or money to build a side with and from this has had to work with nothing. I think alot of other coaches could not have done any better.

He got pick 2 (Walker) and PSD 1 (Stevens) in spite of the penalties so he got a reasonable return for crapness which ahs been bolstered since due to more crapness. He and the club have just failed to manage a list.

He made numerous prelims at North for 2 flags. A lot of clubs, including my own, would kill for 2 flags in a decade but he did nothing remarkable in terms of flags at North armed with some serious top end talent. He was far from a failure but he hardly walked unchartered territory.

Ask many North supporters and they will tell you the same thing, Pagan sucked the life out of the list.

Should a club change coach after a period of dominance to allow a new coach to rebuild or should he do the rebuilding and then leave as the club shows signs of success, i.e. should they leave at 5 past midnight or 10 pm?

Sounds like Pagan left NM at 12:05.
He may have left Carlton at 10pm.

injuries don't seem to be a valid excuse for any other side......

had a stretch there from Round 2 to 11 where they won 3 out of 10.....and many on here were calling for a change. If Butterss bites the dust - it's not beyond the realms of possibility

To suggest Lyon is in the gun before Craig is laughable. I cannot believe how Craig has managed to avoid any criticism for the Crows current state. They were on top of the ladder this time last year and absolutely flying, yet crashed in the finals. Again. Now they are outside the 8 after a loss at home to the most disappointing team in the comp this season.

A loss to the Bombers this week at the Dome (a venue the crows have never beaten them at) and the spotlight should well and truly be on Craig.

Agreed if Adelaide finnish outside the 8, Craig has got to be iffy. They get demolished in the finals.

I haven't warmed to Lyon but the saints have definately started playing better in the last 6 weeks, and they do seem less 1 dimensional under Lyon.

Anyway even we aren't going to sack a coach after 1 season who may get us into the finals
