I wish we could bulldoze the WACA and build a little cricket stadium like this in its place.

Marsh looked fantastic in that 200 for Australia A, but I would have asked him to score a few more hundreds and show he can be consistent.

Hughes just scores ton after ton and can't get selected.
Considering how terrible we've been against spin, is it really worth it to bring in one of the worse players of spin in the squad? Not sure he can go into lock down mode and still get a few runs like Rogers can against his weakness.

Hughes is worth a shot. He can't do any worse than Doolan. Hughes should at least be in the XI for the first test this summer.

Next test I'd go:
Rogers
Warner
Hughes
Clarke
Smith
Maxwell
Haddin (Nevill/Whiteman/Paine/Hartley/whoever else would be preferable though)
Johnson
O'Keefe
Siddle/Hilfenhaus/Starc (don't think any of them should be playing but they're our only choices)
Lyon

Geez there's a lot of Doolan hate. He's only very early in his Test career batting in the most difficult spot. No. 3s are hardly bashing the door down (no, Hughes is not a No. 3).

For the Australian Summer, I'd put Watson at 4, Clarke (if we must keep the cat) at 5, Smith at 6 (don't fck with the one thing that's working). Maybe Hughes can replace Rogers.

You're right, that is amazing. And it was the previous test when Ian and Greg Chappell became the first brothers to score a century in each innings in the same Test match.
Skull reckoned he could get Glenn Turner out with a soggy tomato but Ian Chappell wouldn't bowl him until it was too late.
