Agreed. People should really read 'Bookie Gambler Fixer Spy' before making comment. It's all about the manipulation of betting brackets - the thing that was overlooked in the Aamir/Asif scandal was that it was a demonstration of power - nowhere, not even in illegal Indian bookie markets can you bet on a specific event such as a no ball occurring on a particular delivery of the match.
However, 'Bookie Gambler Fixer Spy' does have some fairly strong allegations that the India-Pakistani World Cup Semi was fixed - speculated that it most likely as per an agreement of the two governments to avoid Pakistan playing in a World Cup final in Mumbai.

Both sides can use every player in the squad (though only 11 on field at a time and only 11 can bat per innings)
15 a side is crazy, but I guess with only one tour game something like this as inevitable. How I miss there being time for a proper lead-in games before Test series.

Depends who can bowl the longer spells, that might be Hilfy but Sidds does bowl a good line and length.
On these wickets surely MJ, one of Hilfy/Siddle, Marsh (A/R), plus two spinners in O'Keefe/Lyon. Surely that is the attack.

Is the O'keefe inclusion as a second option. There's no chance they will drop Lyon again I would assume.

I know a few people (who have seen a lot more of him than me) around here are quite critical of his bowling. Did you or anyone else see much of the innings to see how he was actually going?

Has to be 5 bowling options with either Marsh or Maxwell playing and at least two of them to be spinners. If Marsh can bowl, then it will be Johnson, Siddle, Lyon, SOK and Marsh, you'd think.
Batting depends on who is fit I suppose. Warner, Rogers, Doolan, Clarke, Smith, Marsh, Haddin, SOK, Johnson, Lyon, Siddle seems like the most likely side if everyone is fit.

The criticism is he is very round arm which means he is accurate but on pitches that don't offer much he doesn't get wickets. That said the pitches in the UAE are perfect for him.

Maybe but either one of him and Hilfy are really just making up the numbers. Siddle isn't quick enough anymore

From all reports they were working with him to get it back? Either way he still deserves to be there or thereabout. The competition for spots is enough to ensure that if he doesn't do enough to keep it, he won't.
