Yep, quite a few times. It has its pros & cons.

The main positive is that it's near perfect acoustically. If the sound is off, it will be the band's fault. With Wayne & The Boys, I doubt that will happen though. It's also a lovely theatre to look at & take in.

The main - and sometimes huge (depending on the act) - negative is that it's an all-seated theatre and the employees there treat it like a West End or Broadway theatre. They can be very strict on anything approaching having fun. For that reason, I prefer to see acts there that are either more subdued or acoustic.

I've seen quite a few shows there I love it for non rock shows - it's a beautiful theatre and the acoustics are excellent but don't like that it's all seated when you're seeing acts you want to move to.
 
I'm guessing the Flaming Lips are not aware of restrictions like that. Some of these promoters have no idea.
