But if I didn't take Cotchin I would certaintly take Rioli. Some of the twists and turns he does make me very moist.

Cotchin will be the best player hands down imo. But palmer and rioli will be guns as well, its just that i believe Cotchin is the next big thing.

Also, why is "none" an option?

I say Rioli. Cotchin looks like he is going to be a gun with his skill and composure no doubt but I am banking on Rioli developing an engine and spending alot of time in the midfield. If he gets 25 possessions a game he will absolutely cut sides up with hiw electrifying pace and amazing skills and will kick goals. Palmer is well behind in the X factor stakes but he has a great work ethic.

So let me get this right...

Richmond fans have voted Cotchin and Hawk fans have voted Rioli hmmmmmm

For Hawks Junior Rioli will be a much better player then Cotchin or Palmer simpily because he fills our needs better.

Having watched a lot of Cotchin this year I can say one thing about that guy. He will be one of the best players in 3 years time in the leauge. I in no way deny I have a man crush on that guy. However at Hawks he would not be as useful and as good as Rioli would be.

I don't get the whole "he'll be a better player for the Hawks because he fills a need" statements from so many Hawks supporters, who then often go on and say that eventually he will play in the midfield more full time, if he turns into a midfielder then will he be more or less useful to The Hawks(Seemingly no more useful than Cotch/Palmer as a midfielder), and if he doesn't move into the midfield, then is he being wasted just to fill a "NEED".

Cotchin, easily. Absolute champion in the making. Shattered that Richmond grabbed him last year before we could.

Before Friday night i would have said Cotchin, but bloody hell, Rioli was on fire.

17 touches, all quality, some super handballs you wont see from the most experienced players.

He drew three dogs to him and handballed straight over his head to a running hawk (and since his player was drawn, noone was on him) who got it to franklin who kicked a goal.

Dont forget he is still predominantly a forward with stints in the midfield and defence. Next year he will be a Midfielder with stints up Forward and in Defence.

I seem to remember a Gary Ablett Junior playing as a small forward in his early years of AFL?:p

Rioli should have won the NAB, imo. He has the skill and the class to be one of the best, just depends on when clarko reckons he is ripe for the midfield.

Probably Cotchin for longevity, however I think if Rioli gave a stuff about football post 2016 he would be ahead.
