Victoria Police have arrested 2 males in connection with criminal damage (graffiti) amongst other charges.

Pam The Bird has been springing up all over Melbourne and Geelong. Is the graffiti unsightly? You be the judge. Certainly it’s an expense to remove that property owners don’t wish for.

The accused have applied for bail.

Look on the one hand it's a cultural phenomenon, but yeah, it's property damage, not allowed.

I'm reading he might have to wait 18 months for trial though. WTF. One of the judge's concerns re bail was he would gain followers/ money from doing it more on social media etc. Surely they could just ban him from that as a bail condition?


Only other thing is the cops also want him on violent crime too, no details on that yet though.

I have loved seeing all the different Pam the Birds across Melbourne and whilst I appreciate it’s illegal and a message needs to be sent, no bail is a massive over reach.

Have you seen the video of a station worker in Queensland confronting the alleged offender while he's doing a Pam on a train so he unloads the rest of his spray can in the guy's face (let alone some of the other crimes he's been charged with)? I find it pretty offensive that people think this is some rascalish boys will be boys behaviour.
