Anybody read the article ?

Basically what Jon Andersen is saying that a move by Swans borad members to try and recruit David Parkin to a 'Director of Coaching' position over and above Rodney Eade could ruffle Eades feathers and create tension on the Coaching staff.

Another example of sloppy, stupid, opinionated and dowbnright WRONG media bluster.

Mr Andersen - for your information (seeing you didn't check the facts as usual) :

IT WAS EADE THAT THOUGHT OF THE IDEA IN THE FIRST PLACE !!!!!!!!!

drongo journalist ....

You are right, journalits are lazy, why couldn't have just put a phone call to Rocket who would have told him what everyone knew!

Sack the idiot, gee can anyone imagine doing this in their own careers and getting away with it?

One of the worst examples of sloppy journalism I have seen

"Chick set to join Eagles"

This is appalling, Rocket is currently writing for the HS, so why not just contact him.

Especially when everyone else knew what was behind the move.

Jon Please explain

"Sydney interested in Rocca"

they were reporting that Sydney were speaking to Rocca.

until they actually spoke to Rocket who said Sav didn't come under consideration, and they never spoke to him.

It makes you sick that most of what you read is conjecture, or rubbish. Most of the stuff we read appears to be made up.

I have noted over the years that this guy, Jon Anderson, is particularly susceptible to not getting facts right about players from any team other than Geelong, who I presume he barracks for.

There was a theory that media hacks were exacting revenge on Hawks players for 'daring' to have a self-imposed media ban (shortly after they were called the 'Big Tease) This could be a reason for all those rumours, with prhaps a little of west coast trying to placate it's supporters.

I hate to add more nails but will the wash up be that both Judge and Ayres won't turn out to be particularly 'great' coaches ? (I have no animosity to the great player Ayres)

Perhaps one of the realities of the salary cap (now it is enforced) that clubs have to find extra inducements to players. This can be things like Media exposure or training for, Helping with other stuff like UNI courses (Has melbourne got better UNIs), Having a coaching staff the players like as well as respect, providing an element of fun, Good possibility of success, long term viability of club/being paid on time, Not having to be best mates with the captain in order to get on etc etc)
