Partial lockout questions

Ok ok, we all know about the vice-captain dealo with the loophole.

But, if I have Duigan in my Backs and put him on the bench as an emergency, and put one of my GC Backs on the field, after Duigan's score (for e.g. if it's trash) can I simply swap Josh Toy with Lower/Hibberd on the Friday?

Of course if Duigan scores well I will leave the GC Back on the field...

Give me some reassurance!

sounds clever, but what if another defender pulls out and you end up with two '0' instead of one?

yeah that's the worry. You could basically do this with any Carlton/Richmond rookie. If another 0 doesn't eventuate it could pay off and give you the early jump on the competition. Just worried about those extended bench line-ups!

Yes, on the Supercoach PRO thing they talk about the partial lockout occurring. It happened last year, it's highly unlikely they would scrap it without sufficient warning.

There definitely is a partial lockout for Round 1.

Partial Lock-out reveal teams?

Seeing as how the ladder match ups are starting this week, I was wondering if after the game tonight teams will available to view. I certainly hope not and will be pissed right off if my opposition changes his/her team after seeing my team

Thoughts? Will this happen?

So ive got Judd VC right now with noone selected as captain. If Judd kills it can I just leave it like this and Judd becomes captain? And if not then select Swan as Captain?

Na, he can trade the two players he has as C and VC and then save his team. He can then fill the two vacant spots with the players he just deleted. When his team reloads, he will have no C and VC selected. I tried it myself to make sure it works.

try saving your team one man down and then do it

nah, pick new players in that position. Make sure you save it. Then trade out the players and then pick up your players again.

Just for those who have not thought of this.Tonight make duigan your emerg and if he gets a score you like leave your GC backman on the ground and take it. If he doesn't, play a bench player to try to better his score.

Once again you will get 2 shots at a rookie score in your backline.
