Agree, hard to keep it up for that long, but from what I can see they are being schooled to read the game and play accordingly - on Saturday, they went for the kill when the opposition were broken; compare that to the second half of the second quarter in the praccy against WCE in Bunbury - when west coast got a run on and kicked 4 or 5, we went into a possession game to take the heat out of the contest.We will definitely win plenty of games this season. I was confident of that before the start of the season, and even more so now. However, what concerns me with our style of play, even if we iron out the mistakes and improve in a number of areas, it is a very taxing game plan that requires 100% effort and non stop pressure for 120 minutes. Whereas Hawthorn seems to be winning on class and smarts without seemingly exerting as much physical effort.
When we've got momentum go hard - when the opposition have it, protect the ball.
