Prediction Pass mark for 2016?

Well given we've stated we want to be top 4 in 2018, and we were 15th in 2015, I'll chart a nice steady course and say 10th in 2016 (6th in 2017, top 4 2018).

- **** off WADA and put it behind us totally as a club. The issue of any vengeance can be left until all involved are retired, so that it doesn't impact our football any more.

- nail picks 4 and 5

- manage injuries well (not collision injuries that can't be, more soft tissue stuff)

- big years for Z Merrett, Daniher, Heppell and Laverde

- Colyer and Zaka to become solid wingmen

- Gleeson, Fantasia, Edwards, J Merrett and Langford to become regular senior players

- don't mean this the wrong way, but by the end of the year I'd like to see Cooney, Dempsey, Ambrose, Kommer, Hocking, Howlett and Gwilt as genuine fringe players who are struggling to get a game when 100% for. Simply because it'll mean we've taken some steps toward rebuilding the team as these guys probably don't have much improvement in them to be honest.

And for my bolt from the clouds...

- Tayte Pears to become a regular senior player and solid third tall backman.

We're allowed one dream I think.

A plan when going forward.
Players looking interested.
Kicking skills improve.
Stop handballing to players in bad positions.
More frees to joey D.

As for a passmark, just be competitive and make us want to watch the team again.

Laverde, Langford and Francis must finish 1-3 in the rising star or bust :D.
After seeing the fixture:
  • I want 8-10 wins.
  • Increase our average score from the early 70s to an average of mid 80s which is on par with the teams that finished 9th to 12 this year.
  • Mid time for Laverde.
  • Hooker and Hurley in defence all year.

This should be the case from the start of the year. As much as he's been a great clubman and had a wonderful year, I'd throw Stants into that list too.

Functioning forwardline should be the main priority for mine, would be nice to see us break the 100 point barrier a few more times next season. With everyone fully fit and assuming Hooker goes back you'd want to see Jobe playing out of a forward pocket about 70% of the game, or at least rotating with Goddard - both dangerous around the goals, provide strong marking targets and potentially alleviate some of the pressure from Daniher and presumably McKernan. Would like both Dempsey and Zaharakis to sort themselves out/deliver on at least some of their potentials. Would like to see finals but agree that we'll be somewhere in the 8 - 12 mark, and would personally prefer 9th to a potentially demoralising finals belting.

Not sure I have hocking on the fringe. His impact after missing most of the season was excellent.much needed grunt in midfield
